Looking for a Reliable Alfa Mechanic in Den Haag Regio

ma jun 01, 2009 14:25

Hello,

I have recently purchased Alfa GTV 2.0 TS '95 and I am looking for a reliable Alfa specialist in Den Haag Regio. I need to change LMM (Air Flow Control) part and check/possibly replace left rear wheel lager.
Any suggestions?

Groetjes...

Hello,

I was told today that changing the LMM on Alfa GTV 2.0 TS '95 would cost around 300 Euro. Any idea where I can buy the part cheeper? Is it difficult to replace it on your own?

Thanks...

Can't help you with the LMM but just be glad that you weren't looking for a shed for your car(s)... "Got a schoer te hoer"? Oh well... both have to do to with temporarily acquiring access, for fee, to a space that one normally can't access...

Or Auto Romeo, Nootdorp, very near the first exit on the A12. Almost neighbours with www.Tuynder.nl, low-priced orignal Alfa parts dealer, should you consider doing this easy job yourself. Ask him for a quote on the LMM (part nr 46407008) and bearing (60613615), both are quite easy to replace if you have the tools (less than an hour).

Thanks guys :) I live in Leidschendam, so the both places are very near by... I went to Biezman and was told that all is fine with the LLM (the computer didn't show any faults) but occasionally my car will loose the power when accelerating. I checked several Alfa forums and learned that sometimes the computer can't detect faulty LLM because it will still give readings although the wrong ones...
Thanks for the tips...
Groetjes :)

If you plan to change Luchmassameter on your Alfa GTV 2.0 TS here is the price with Firma Tuynder.

The partnumber 46407008 costs 251,76 Euro (excl. 19% BTW).

Have feeling that I will go for the second hand part :)

Kind Regards

Yes, but who will build it in for you ? Dealers want to make a profit on material, most of them will not allow you to bring your own parts. Check the difference between laborprice betwee auto romeo and rd, go to rd and take a fresh LMM

I just read on several forums about cleaning Air Mass Flow Meter with great result! Im wondering if anyone else have done this and if there is any picture guide of cleaning it on Alfa GTV?
There is even a special cleaning agent for LMM [url] http://www.autobarn.net/maairflsecl1.html
