za feb 03, 2007 22:58

Hello. I bought Alfa Romeo Sprint QV 1984 and got 4 original speedline alloy wheels with wierd size that require tires 190/55 HR 340!!! What do you know about this wheels. I can't find tires for it. Can I use another sizes of tires for that original Alfasud Sprint's Speedline wheels?

nope, You've got the original sud TRX-wheels, only Michelin can supply you with suitable tyres at a high prize

your best option is to source a set of 33 type 1 QV 14"rims, so you can use the much cheaper 186/60/14 tyres

There is "somebody" in Belgium who claims he can deliver any size TRX-Tyre:

click here and scroll down, allmost at the bottom of the page:
"alle banden te koop
speciaal trx banden
als ook velgen trx, gewone ,dunlop etc etc .
inl Kurt
0032/475/460.380"

Prices will be skyhigh, no doubt :!:
I bet the rims you have also exist in a "J" version.

ps beware: there are lions on that page
It's not easy, being green (kermit)

"J" is the type of heel-shape on the rim, where the tyre sits. All normal tyres are made for the J-shape. TRX is a special michelin project which requires a different shape.

I agree with Graffiaturo that you would better search for other rims which fit normal tyres and have no idea about the price for 4 TRX tyres, but I guess they are about 4x the price for 185/60.

Most Belgiums can speak English

that's why i advised you to source 33 series 1 QV wheels
those are exactly the same wheels as your TRX's, but normal size
